Technology Strategy Board

In 2010 our excellence was recognised by the Technology Strategy Board, a non-departmental public body with a vision of making the UK a global leader in innovation. Our pitch to support the growth of the UK’s broadband network helped us secure with other collaborators over £2,000,000 investment to create a national ‘hotspot’ where we would be able to help foster:

• Application and service commerce, enabling application developers, service providers and partners to create, publish and consume applications within an agreed commercial framework.
  
• Flexible Pricing models ranging from transactional based, PAYG, fixed or monthly subscription .
• Live invocation tracking of applications and facilitate live settlement and clearing of payments and royalties.

This project is aligned with our acclaimed “Signal” brand to deliver secure, reliable and compelling applications to our customers and help support the Technology Strategy Board's vision of turning development and commercialization of technology research into a reality.
