Cable and Wireless are a leading telecoms company specialising in providing next generation network and services to leading companies across the globe.

Historically Cable and Wireless does not sell directly to SME's, but services them through a reseller channel partner network. Traditionally only voice and data products have been offered to the channel but Cable and Wireless wanted to ensure that its channel partners stayed robust and could offer flexibility to the SME customers.

To support the goal of maintaining a strong channel partner network, aQovia proposed a ground breaking and intuitive business model that leveraged a cloud platform (the Services EcoSystem) to provide software as a service (SaaS) to providers. Cable and Wireless recognised opportunities for revenue growth through offering cloud based applications to SME's through their reseller channel and it's consequences such as improved customer stickiness, retention and new value propositions.

Our Solution

Seeing an opportunity to implement a unique and innovative platform, aQovia co-developed and integrated an ecommerce portal Cable and Wireless facilitating the fulfillment, assurance and billing of SaaS services both B2B and B2C. The introduction of SaaS products (such as Hosted Exchange, ip CCTV, customer relationship management etc) complimented data offered with new products to resell and margin opportunities for additional revenue streams, as well as increased customer loyalty.
